Stone clicked under Aerion's heel, sealing his face into a mask of pleasant cordiality on their approach. A perfect, ever so polite prince greeting family after days on the road, just as his father expected. "Daeron. Aerion." Daeron's name was said like a greeting. Aerion's came out closer to a siren's call, fighting the urge to step forward. Valarr had made his choice explicitly clear last time they had seen each other."Cousin."
Lips pressed insistently against Aerion's own, groaning at the taste of himself on Valarr's tongue. Hardness searing against Aerion's hip when Valarr had ground himself against him. The haze that came with short breaths and too much heat spilling between their bodies. The way Aerion had finally sunk. The power he had given his cousin moments later, offering something so much more than the warmth of his mouth.
"I'm engaged to be married."
Heat vanished. Ice crept through Aerion's spine, throat closing shut as he rose.

Valarr took a deep breath, tilted his head, and said. “I don’t eat dead things.” And sat on the bed, still staring at him.
“Then what do you eat?” Aerion realized Valarr’s dyed black hair made him look like a skunk, a demonic evil rodent who wants to eat his soul. He swallowed thickly as his leg began to shake.
“Lots of things.” There’s that smile again, hauntingly beautiful and cunning. “Don’t worry.” Valarr whispered, “I don’t eat boys like you, so you should be safe.” He looked him up and down, sizing him up for slaughter. “For now.”( Or:Goth phlebotomist Valarr gets kicked out of his college dorm, he moves in with his uncle and younger preppy goodie-goodie cousin to finish the semester.)
.Black and silver. When the two twist into one, it muddies them both. And Vallar wants to see that perfect piece of shit muddied.
