Summary
Yeonjun turns around a second time to stare at him. “Do you even see yourself? You look like shit, I can see those dark circles from here.”
Beomgyu rolls his eyes; he’s used to Yeonjun’s hidden insults. Today he’s just too exhausted to deal with the other’s antics. He sighs, trying to calm down.
“I know you think I’m ugly, no need to rub it in.”
Beomgyu turns away, but he can tell Yeonjun smirks, thinking he won. He knows him too well.
“I never said you were ugly…” Yeonjun trails off, sounding the slightest bit upset. Well, Beomgyu did not expect that at all.
Beomgyu falls sick at a bad time. Yeonjun is there to help, even if Beomgyu didn't ask for it.

Summary
Sunoo liked his job. Sure, he thought his talents lay above what he was now- a glorified errand boy for the Snow Miser -but he was content where he was. He was a master filer, not a spot on his record. He checked the Weather Reports and Wind Requests more than Santa checked The List. So he liked his job, but more importantly, he was good at it. He would never make a mistake big enough for the Heat Miser himself to come knocking at their door.
Riki liked his job, too. Being a Watcher was an easy, laid back job. All he had to do was watch and read a map of the Northern Hemisphere while his boss, the Heat Miser, focused on Summer Time in the Southern Hemisphere. There was rarely ever an issue they couldn't solve in house- except for the one time fifty centimetres of snow was dropped on a city without warning.
OR
The Snow Miser and the Heat Miser are rumoured to be mortal enemies, in constant battle over the state of the world, with no love in their hearts.
Sunoo and Riki aren't so sure about that.

Summary
Jay had a plan from the moment he entered high school. Get good grades so he could get accepted into a reputable school, ideally on scholarship, keep up enough extracurriculars to seem well rounded before applying and being accepted into a prestigious Law School. He might live in Seoul now, but he was still an American kid at heart with the lights of Seattle burned into the back of his eyelids, and what American kid aiming to be a lawyer didn’t dream of Harvard?
Jay was a planner. He was organised. He specifically got to campus an hour early to ensure he knew exactly where his classes were, despite Heeseung, his best friend who had been attending this school for a year now, showing him around a few months prior. He was thorough and careful and thorough and careful.
All it took was one glance at his class list, a mere seven and a half second look, to confirm the room number of his Intro to Philosophy course when his entire world was tipped on its axis (along with, unfortunately, the iced americano in his hand.)

“Well now you’re sounding just like him when he judged my situation based on one side. You called him insufferable.”
Beomgyu scowls, but Soobin is right again. “Then we’re both insufferable. Clearly we wouldn’t work together.”
Soobin just smiles like he knows something Beomgyu doesn’t. “I’m still giving it a month.”)
