A century ago, Link went into the Shrine of Resurrection, and Zelda went to Calamity Ganon. There they stayed, frozen, waiting, until Link wakes and takes his first breath. But it's not the same as it was. The Guardians killed him, and there was no coming back from that, not fully. He's lost so much that he doesn't understand what he's missing.
But Zelda does. She watches from the castle, trying so hard to help. But he isn’t like he used to be. She has to figure something else out, and quickly, because this idiot hero of hers won't last two weeks without her.

A series of one-shots and multi-chapter fics set before, during, and after Breath of the Wild. It follows Link and Zelda as they grow up and face the Calamity—and its aftermath. Expanding on canon and filling in the gaps, this series features things like Link and Mipha meeting for the first time, Zelda discovering why Link does not speak, and Link making his way into the world after the Shrine of Resurrection.
Inspiration taken from the game, the way I first played it, the DLC, Age of Calamity, the Breath of the Wild art book, Tears of the Kingdom, various wikis, tumblr, my brain, and the Zelda fandom.

"Which child minder?" Sherlock asks with an air of suspicion. "Not the same one you used last Tuesday, I hope. Rosamund doesn't like that insufferable woman, and who could blame her? Imagine, thinking someone of Watson's intellect would be duped by cheap parlour tricks and tomfoolery."

After moving back into 221B with Rosie, John discovers that Sherlock has been hiding a chronic health condition caused by John's attack on him in the morgue. Together they navigate the fallout, becoming a family in the process.

"I know I don't." But Sherlock leaves anyway, spurred by equal parts anger and shame. He promises to be back in 30 minutes with the forgotten milk for Rosie's evening meal.
He does not return.
Later, John will think of that last glimpse of Sherlock's face, the tired hurt, the start of tears. He will think that maybe Sherlock has simply decided to be done with this, to be done with him.
Still, maybe he'd better call Greg, see if anyone's caught a glimpse of the man. Just in case.
Across town, Sherlock plots escape but hopes for rescue, trapped in a situation that he cannot talk his way out of.
