Summary
By senior year, perfect student Caitlyn Kiramman has a reputation she absolutely hates. In the unofficial yearbook, she was voted “Most Likely to Become an Unfuckable Dictator Who Is Boring as Hell.”
So, she decides to destroy that reputation by becoming the worst student in school. The plan is going well until Vi, her academic rival, notices that Caitlyn is deliberately tanking her grades and bets that she could be a better worst student than her. Now the two are competing for the title.
They hate each other.
But between love and hate, there’s a very, very thin line.

“I don’t ‘fuck around’ with girls,” Caitlyn said, air-quoting Vi.
Vi raised an eyebrow. “So the yearbook was right?”
“No! Absolutely not.”
“Then yeah, you do fuck around.” Vi said. “People just need to actually see it or you’re gonna stay the unfuckable dictator forever.”

Or: Father Kiramman isn’t stupid enough to fall for her contractor, and Vi isn’t stupid enough to fall back. Right?

Vi’s gaze flicked up to her face, sharp and observant, and her grin widened. “Huh,” she said. “Fancy Piltie suit and a pulse like you just ran a marathon.”
“I—this suit is practical,” Caitlyn said, mortified, heat rushing to her face. “And I am perfectly calm.”
“Sure you are,” Vi replied cheerfully, stepping back at last.

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman has absolutely no interest in IPL, beauty treatments, or anything else Mel Medarda insists will “change her life.” But after weeks of relentless persuasion, Caitlyn is bested as her bff books her in for a half-leg session at her favourite salon. She expected mild discomfort, a clinical appointment, and the satisfaction of proving Mel wrong. What she did not expect was Vi, her wild magenta haired, freckled, tattooed laser technician, struggling through her very first week on the job.
What began as one reluctant appointment attendance quickly turns into something far more intersting. Between nervous jokes, accidental flirting, and an increasingly inconvenient awareness of everything Vi, Caitlyn found herself reconsidering just how terrible IPL really was. The problem was, admitting that would mean conceding that Mel had been right all along, and Caitlyn would never give her best friend that satisfaction.
OR
Caitlyn is nervous, awkward and horny and Mel forces her to try IPL. Vi is on her fourth day on the job as a laser technician and hasn't read the HR policies yet, but is pretty sure lusting over a client is frowned upon!
