Summary
Roque slowly backs him into the door, palms moving down to grip Sebas’s thighs.
Sebas swallows. “Roque,” he says. It sounds much less like the warning he’d intended than a plea.
In one fluid movement, Roque lifts Sebas against him. Sebas does not consider himself to be a small person by any means—average height, maybe on the leaner side compared to someone like Roque but who isn’t? Roque’s body is not of this world. And being held like this by him makes Sebas feel small in the way that small things are safe and cherished and cared for, which is a hell of a lot to feel on a random weekday afternoon.
Roque tightens his hold on him. “My hand is fine now, by the way.”
.
Sebas climbs Roque like a tree after one of them (both of them) shows off during practice. It’s okay. Both their thighs can handle it.

Summary
Ricky heard Miss Jenn ask for the new girl's name for her record, and in a confident tone she said, “Gina Porter, auditioning for the role of Belle. Naturally.”
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes again.
Gina Porter. What a stupid, pretty name.
He wondered how good she would be.
*
Ricky Bowen isn't sure if he's going to audition for East High's production of Beauty and the Beast, until new girl Gina Porter antagonizes him into it. When he gets cast as the lead alongside her, he struggles with the decision to either leave her be or to dig beneath the surface and see if he can be the one to break down her walls.

Summary
Ricky Bowen and Gina Porter used to be best friends. Comfortable enough with each other to be real, but real meant feelings bubbling to the surface and that was something they couldn't actually handle. That's why "used to be" hung over them like a large weight. One that they were forced to confront when they are punished into planning East High's Senior Prom for their graduating class.

Summary
He’s laying on a bench in the afternoon sun, arm thrown over his eyes, dirt streaked across his cheeks. He’s wearing the same ragged clothes that Stiles has seen him in for the past three days—a dingy black t-shirt and jeans that are ripped at the knees, and not the artsy, designer, I paid too much money for these kind of rips. The hems are frayed, the dirt looks caked in at this point, and Stiles stops and stares at him for a little too long.
For someone clearly living on the streets, the dude is gorgeous.
Even with tiny flowers woven in his beard.

Summary
It’d been Sophia who’d found the coffee shop; three blocks from Eddie’s new station, the perfect place to swing by for a pre-shift burst of energy. It’s not the only one in the area, and as much as Eddie hates to say it, not the best—but the only place where the barista had taken his breath away at first sight and then continued to slide his way into Eddie’s heart, so he can’t really bring himself to care that he only gets the correct order half the time.

Stiles seems to do a double-take when he sees Derek sitting up in the chair, trips over his own feet, and goes crashing into the water. Derek tenses—he really doesn’t want to have to dive in two minutes into his first shift—but Stiles just comes up spluttering, hauls himself out, and walks over to him.
“Hale,” he says, grinning, “didn’t expect to see you slumming it with the common folk this summer.”

If Buck had been in charge of the whole soulmate business, sharing injuries is not what he would have gone with. Because people? They get hurt a lot.
It’s inconvenient.
It’s also incredibly useful when you’re annoyed.

“The fourteenth annual first responders baseball tournament,” Bobby says, setting the pan of honey-garlic chicken onto the table.
Buck shares a confused look with Eddie. “Uh, Cap?” he says, passing the rice over to Hen and reaching for the vegetables, “I don’t think we’ve ever had one of those.”
“Not every house plays,” Bobby says, and gives him a look. “You have to have enough to fill a roster, and we’ve had some trouble doing that the past few years.”

Summary
“I don’t have a name,” was one of the first things Stiles ever said to him, somewhere in between “do your eyebrows always do that?” and “come on, one coffee can’t hurt.” And now the memory of it is all Derek can hear over the pounding of his own heart in his head, a drumbeat that sounds like he’s being marched to his own execution.

“Yankee fan,” Derek says, laughing when Stiles makes a disgusted face. “The Bronx Bombers, Stiles, you can’t be a New Yorker and—”
“Stop talking right now,” Stiles sighs, shaking his head. “I can’t believe I still want to kiss you after that,” he says, pulling Derek in by his coat. “This is making me rethink everything."
“I’ll never watch them again,” Derek promises, and Stiles laughs against his mouth.
Or: Stiles is a starting pitcher for the NY Mets when he meets and falls in love with Derek. Derek doesn’t know.

She hasn’t been this flustered since—well, since she asked out Eddie. “So,” she says, busying herself with making coffee, “how long have you worked with Mr. Diaz?”
Lena makes a face at her. “With Eddie? Few years. I gotta ask, though—is Buckley as lovesick as he is?”
She grabs onto the life ring being offered to her. Buck is solid ground, a safe topic of conversation while she tries to get her wildly unchecked attraction to Lena under control. “He’s a kicked puppy,” she says, “I hope Eddie’s doing better with this than he is.”

Summary
It's not the first time Eddie has been hurt on the job, and it's not going to be the last, but this time it was so close. One second he was just behind Buck and the next, the building was collapsing and Eddie was just not there. He doesn't remember much after it, only that Bobby and Chimney had hold him back from running straight back there and that an eternity later, they had pulled Eddie from the ground, with just a few scratches here and there.
Buck had not being able to calm himself down for a long while, not even with Eddie's reassuring words against his head, not even with his arms around him.
or
Eddie is in danger and it puts a lot of things on perspective for Buck.
