Summary
“Were your teammates pissed at you? Let me guess, they didn’t appreciate you throwing away the last inning, hm?” It’s so easy to push Mira’s buttons—Zoey would know seeing as it’s her favorite pastime—and the corner of her mouth twitches into a smirk when she sees the flex of muscle in Mira’s body before she pounces.
A loud thud echoes through the empty locker room as Mira drops her bag and shoves her up against a locker.
Zoey feels the growl from Mira before she hears it.
“You’re so confident.” Mira sneers as she gets up close and personal, the tip of her nose a centimeter away from brushing against Zoey’s. “You think you’re hot stuff, don’t you? A single win and your ego is already inflated beyond measure.”
“Oh, I don’t think so—I know so. You just threw away your team’s chance for quali’s. Guess we’ll be facing the Jeju-do Tigers for you.” Tension thickens in the air again, and Zoey feels the familiarity of it, feels it distinctly like ozone crackling between them. Mira grabs Zoey by the shoulders and slams her weakly against the locker, the act quickly followed by a crush of their mouths together.

Summary
"heloise-verse" focuses mostly on post-canon! lots of polytrix, the idea of love and how it isn't always what you expect it to be, and how you can write a thousand things down and still be blindsided by emotions you could have never expected

Summary
She is the dog that bites when a hand extends itself to feed, the dog that is wrong down to its very bones, down to the marrow, down to something genetic and intrinsic and unchangeable, the dog they put down to spare it its own misery.
She wishes it were as simple as a matter of guilt. Guilt for hurting them, for hiding, for lying, because maybe she could’ve fixed that, because guilt, at least, would’ve meant that she’s only done something wrong.
Shame is knowing that she is something wrong.

Summary
They were always compared—two powerhouse soloists. The dancer and the singer. The cold goddess and the hot devil. They debuted the same year, swept different categories, divided fanbases like a civil war. Mira’s followers called Rumi classless. Rumi’s fans said Mira was a frigid bitch.
Sometimes, Mira thought maybe they were both right.
And sometimes, she remembered how Rumi’s voice had sounded last time she moaned under her.
