Tord scoffed, finally showing mild irritation, "Why do you think I dragged you all the way out here? Come on, show me-" he pressed with a little more urgency.
Tom chewed at his inner cheek, forcing his gaze away.
"It's too bright," Tom argued with less conviction.
"Use my shadow then. It's enough." Tord was no longer amused. Instead, he had on that sort of mechanical look he got when he was trying to puzzle something out.
It wasn't cruel– not yet, at least. Just irritatingly adamant.
