Summary
Again, a homage to Of Dwobbits, Dragons and Dwarves by ISeeFire . I just can’t get enough of it! Bilba the dwobbit here feeling mighty insecure in her ball gown. Normally she likes to hide her numerous scars from a traumatic upbringing, but is convinced by Dis to wear it for Fili’s coming of age ceremony. Bilba is none too excited about being in a crowded room with people she does not know, and all these stares are making her even more uncomfortable… Ah, my dear dwobbit. If only you knew how striking you are!

Summary
Oooh, love this fic! It’s been awhile since I’ve made any pieces for this story, so here’s the first of(hopefully) many more to come. Taken from a story called Dovahkiin by Rhiw. Really, a great read! Here we see an intimate moment between Bilbo and Thorin both taking a nightwatch in the ever treacherous Misty Mountains. A short reprieve from the storm to come.
I don’t know how much night watching they’re doing, though. I mean, do you see the way that Thorin is looking at Bilbo? I think he’s Hobbit seeing rather than keeping watch for the nasties.

Summary
And make it double! ISeeFire's story Homeward Bound is something everyone should read. Really! These two characters are the children of Bilba Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield. Though they haven't been born yet, Bilba has received mysterious dreams of the desolate future that these two often appear in. When talking about them with Kili, she bemoans the fact that the combination of Durin and Took was one that would cause Middle Earth to be in constant chaos. This is the plot bunny that formed! One has a honey bucket, the other a basket of feathers. Wonder if those Shire relatives are ready for the storm to follow?

Summary
Achilles cannot imagine what this prince from the surface might be like. Raised by Demeter! A young god with his father’s wrath and his mother’s impetuousness, fuelled by his grandmother’s calculated spite. He thinks of the swathes of dead that disembark Charon’s ferry still shivering and huddled together as though their shades could hold warmth.
Perhaps the Zagreus who has grown up with cold eternal is as icy and cruel as Demeter herself. Perhaps he will bring nothing but strife. Olympian history is full of sons overthrowing their fathers, after all.

Summary
Achilles tilts his chin up defiantly, in an effort to stare Patroclus down. He only succeeds in looking like a petulant child. “It is considered a great honour to be a therapon to a prince, you know.”
“Honour is meant to be earned, not handed out as if to a beggar, or a dog.”
Achilles’ nostrils flare, his green-gold eyes gleaming dangerously. “Such scorn from someone who was training to be a common footsoldier just this morning. Many of the boys back at the yard would beg for this chance.”
“Then you should have chosen one of them, perhaps." Patroclus glances down at the expensive chiton and his brand new arms, and hates how heavy and foreign they feel on him. “I didn’t ask for any of this.”
The last thing Patroclus wants is to become therapon to the Prince of Phthia. He had his fill of princelings back when he lived in Opus—hell, he used to be one himself. He doesn't need some stuck-up demigod to size him up and appoint him his glorified manservant. He'd much rather pass, thank you very much.
Achilles, however, is unlike any prince he's ever met.

There are many nuances to the culture of the realm of the dead that Achilles has yet to fully grasp. As with all things, though, better understanding does come with time.

Summary
Achilles finds himself in a strange place - when moments earlier he’d just been fatally wounded in battle during the Trojan war. He’s found by Patroclus, unsuspecting future doctor, and while Achilles remembers everything, including the intimate relationship he and Patroclus shared, Patroclus doesn’t remember anything, and has no idea what’s going on. This leads them on a journey of remembering the past, but also finding each other all over again, in a brand new modern era.
