Notes: canon divergence. In this world, instead of writing about Eloise to throw the Queen off her scent, Pen did goes to the palace and confesses, with a Hail Mary of a business plan, because this Pen has seen some dark shit and has been doing some social good with tips to the Bow Street Runners and insurance investigators. She told Eloise about everything (whistledown and love) and our girls work/are working through it aided by healthy communication. Colin’s plot stayed the same - he stood up against Cousin Jack and did say his stupid comment, but my Pen hears it while talking with El, who goes on the defensive and allows Pen to say: of course he would never court me, and I would never expect him to.
