Summary
One night on the Sea Dragon, a crew member sneaks into Spider's room and does unspeakable things to him. After the ordeal, Spider grapples with his emotions to process the trauma that occurred. He wasn't sure if what had happened was something that would be considered "normal" amongst humans because he's never experienced anything like it.

Summary
Without saying anything further Spider turned around, leaving Jake alone. Jake knew Spider would come back, because otherwise he wouldn’t be able to get back to the village but right now Jake also knew that Spider needed time to process all this.
The former Olo’eyktan didn’t know what happened between Quaritch and Spider but he needed to find out, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to understand the boy and how he was thinking and feeling about the Recom.

Summary

One night when he goes to sleep he has a dream that just makes him long for his father, Quaritch. He has to be awoken by the harsh reality he lives in.

The new bead in his hair weighs a tone, and hers catches the light as she turns her betrayed look on him. “It’s okay.”From Lo’ak’s expression it’s definitely not.
