Summary
The Fëanárians have been largely successful at avoiding human interaction in Beleriand, but when the Moriquendi and the Kumandrans - who fled to Beleriand after the Druun destroyed their homeland - demand a council to coordinate battle plans, they have no choice but to face the second-born Children of Eru that Morgoth claimed would cause their downfall. Naturally, angst and cultural confusion ensue, and everyone and their dog has an emotional breakdown as they attempt to find their way in a world fraught with peril, grief, and doom.
[AU where the Dragons are Valar (who refused to abandon Middle Earth to Morgoth), the Kumandrans are the Atani (who came into being a few hundred years before the rising of the Sun), and the breaking of the Dragon Gem happens five hundred years before Raya and Namaari are born.]

Cui Buqu tilted his head to peer better at Feng Xiao. His hair only just grazed his shoulders now, as soft and sleek as Feng Xiao claimed it to be. Too short for him to braid himself perhaps, but if Cui Buqu were so inclined….
