Wifies is a sea serpent, or whatever one chooses to call it. The leviathan, cthulhu, sea serpent, mermaid, the Loch Ness Monster, etcetera etcetera, It didn't matter much to Wifies either way. He was so far above what mortals called him, it didn’t really matter that much.
Well… he still found himself feeling something odd, Loneliness, as Hastur called it. Which felt silly, didn't it? He's practically a god by mortal standards! How could Wifies of all beings feel lonely of all things? Even if it felt silly, Squiddo did keep saying he needed to meet new people… so did Ashwag, really. Maybe he could find some other being to bother? Ugh, how would he do that, though…

The sound of water splashing against stone reaches his ears. It’s coming from the basement. Is that where Hummer is…? The sound reminds him of what happened on the boat.
Carefully going downstairs, he wakes up a bit more. This is crazy, what is he doing? He should just go back to sleep and wake up to find Hummer in bed like normal. Nothing is wrong—
…
That’s… that’s Hummer’s head… on the floor. The display is on, the only color that’s showing is a bright orange with a stripe of black down the center. It resembles an eye.

Hummer wakes up sitting down, leaning against the wall of his library.
The last thing he remembered was looking at Wifies while he looked around the ocean as they both awaited Levi at the bottom of the ocean of an unfamiliar server. Staring at Wifies while his casing filled with water, wiring getting waterlogged and insulation steadily being ruined. Then it all went dark just as his hearts dropped to zero.
How is he here, in his home?

The spyglass was clutched desperately in the body’s hands. It was posed over his chest like a bouquet in a casket. It was so…delicately placed. Someone had to have clutched those cold hands around it, positioned it in a way the glass that stuck out didn’t tear into the skin. It was broken, and yet not as broken as it should have been after an explosion of that extent.
Something ugly bloomed in Parrot’s chest at the realization.
He didn’t dare look at the face of the deceased. It felt wrong. It felt gross. Something terribly taboo. He killed him he didn't have the right to look at him like that -
