Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead.

Summary
For 600 years, Akura-Ou and Tomoe have been life partners, sticking by each other through thick and thin. Part of their relationship's longevity has been attributed to taking side pieces -- until one day a kind-hearted yet feisty human woman catches Akura's attention. As Tomoe and Akura each date Nanami separately, they devolve into insecurity and worry for the fate of their own relationship. Then they learn their girlfriends are actually the same woman, and their worlds change in a new and unexpected way.
