There's an awkward silence as soon as those words leave his mouth. He pinches himself internally and braces himself for your inevitable disgust—no fucking way he'd just said that.

“Anything?” I whispered, and Caleb hastened to answer, “Anything at all, pipsqueak.” He affirmed without hesitation, nuzzling his nose against my nape.
“Make me cum, gege.” I said finally, and a heavy silence ensued. I felt his chest shake against my back as he chuckled, and a mixture of embarrassment and relief washed over me. As if he would ever deny me of one of my requests.

A mission strands her in Skyhaven with nowhere to stay but his house. Things have been weird between them ever since he came back different, distant, buttoned up in that uniform. She misses him. She misses them.
But she's never had the words for the thing simmering under all those years of him raising her as his little sister, so she does what she does best: she curls up in his bed and plays fast asleep, and dares her cold brother to be soft with her again.
The problem? You don't fake sleep for a Colonel of the Farspace Fleet and expect to win. He knows exactly what his pip-squeak is up to.
