Luigi and Bowser are together! After months of falling for each other, and a political fiasco, now nothing can keep these two apart. Things are wonderful, except, Luigi doesn't know how to take on his new responsibilities. Luigi and Bowser are dealing with the consequences of Ludwig's actions. Mario and Luigi's relationship is strained, and Peach?
But it is a new dawn for the Darklands and its citizens! A tentative peace? A new queen? Royalty wandering around in the villages? Open Kingdoms to travel? Adventure, [ and relationships ;) ] are ready to explore!

This is the second part of the first finished story, "Better Than We Believe". You do not have to read that story first to enjoy many of the chapters in this one, but it is a continuation of that story, so some things might not make sense. Have at it if you like :) -

It had been months since Bowser last made a kidnapping attempt. Because of what happened with the last kidnapping, Bowser is determined to get rid of the brothers once and for all. To complete his plans, he kidnaps Luigi. But deep seated feelings of owed debts continue to resurface, and we get to see how Bowser and Luigi react off of one another.

Summary
Their plan had worked! Patton had successfully summoned the creature from the book (with help from his partners), Roman's strength was restored, and most importantly, everyone survived! Now beginning again with a renewed drive for life, the four find that who they had summoned months ago truly meant it when he promised to see them again. Janus finds these four mortals interesting to play with and is not letting them go so easily.

Summary
Unable to sink any lower and without a single coin to their name, Roman, Logan, Patton and Virgil decide to summon.... something. The book of magic they "found" is cryptic, difficult to decipher, but it is their last shot. Regardless of whether it is a god or demon, it is drawn to the humans that have managed to summon it.
Each side festers with an individual problem, while trying to simultaneously fix each other's. Our group is a mess but at least it's an enjoyable mess.

Virgil is a washed-up knight who, after receiving a devastating career ending wound during a duel, has been out of luck and out of hope. His partners who usually join him on quests, are in the same boat with their frontliner down. Times are tough but Patton has come across a book that might help. His draconic is rusty, maybe that word means "chickens?" This word might mean "south?" Logan is hesitant and Roman is feigning confidence, but if it means getting new strength and being able to keep a roof over their head, Virgil will try anything.

It all started with that question. Grace going back for Rocky was never going to be something he regretted. Ever.
But then — on the way to Erid, problems that had been the last thing on his mind while on the journey to save his friend arose. Like privacy.—
Grace survives the journey to Erid, and maybe finds a new home there. Rocky and Adrian have a lot of love to give, and they're very creative. But maybe they'd like others to see just how wonderful their little humans is? How well he sings? Eridians are a very curious species, after all.
Or the fic in which Grace finds out eridians are nothing like humans (duh). They are highly competitive, love playing with others and don't mind sharing. Privacy doesn't really exist on Erid other than for eating. He finds out just how much they are willing to share.

When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

Rocky sat in his xenonite ball, his legs tucked up and asleep in an attempt to speed up healing from an accident. Rocky is asleep. Rocky is sleeping and injured and Grace's only way of effectively communicating with unknown Eridians is broken.
"Aw shoot! This absolutely can get worse!"

The predictability of his new life promised peace and contentment, but predictability has turned into monotony. Earth animals do not do well under such conditions, as the Eridians are about to learn.

He felt bile rise up in the back of his throat. He'd been saved by an obsessed lunatic who thought he was pretty? He ran a hand through his hair. How was his life just seemingly getting worse? This isn't what he wanted! He would've actually preferred to be in hell now over this. "Let me go, you psychopath!"
A claw reached out and poked under his chin. Not cutting or stabbing into the flesh, merely resting against the soft skin. "Let's make a deal."
"A deal?"
"Stay here. Don't fight me on anything and simply enjoy yourself. Don't think too much in to things. If you're still not happy and wish to leave, I'll allow it."
"S-stay here with you?"
"Yes."
"What if I say no?"
"Then the deal is void and you stay here indefinitely."
