Snape wakes as a dementor, drug through the Veil by Unspeakable Hermione's otter patronus, who inexplicably vanishes after. She quickly realizes somethings wrong- different- about this Dementor and busts him loose from the Ministry holding area to her house.
Will she be able to free him to the afterlife? Will she be able to return him to his body and give him a second chance at life? Author finishing the story, then will resume posting chapters. Last updated in May 2026. -
