Vi is lucky. She has a great job at the gym, she lives with her best friend, her hot, kind, sweet, thoughtful, caring best friend, and she happens to make bank while camming.
Caitlyn is lucky. She is a kick-ass professional who graduated top of her class and is now working at one of the most prestigious law firms in Piltover. She also scored a great roommate situation with her best friend, Vi, who she absolutely does *not* have a huge, giant crush on (or so she says to keep her life from falling apart).
Although her work is stressful, and she's trying to keep her feelings under wraps, she has one big secret that helps her relieve a lot of pent-up frustration. She secretly shows off her domination skills on a camming site, having gained thousands of loyal followers. Of course, being in the business had opened Caitlyn's eyes, so to speak, so while she got most of her fill in front of the webcam, she equally spent as much time watching a particular redhead on the camming site.
The fact that she reminds Caitlyn of Vi is irrelevant.

Counting in kindergarten…then, later, counting cards...and after a stint in prison, she'd gotten one of those fancy ass accounting firm jobs in the city.
Problem was, Piltover didn’t much like her prison record, once they caught wind of it, and, suddenly, Vi was out of a job.
Vi hadn’t tried for another job in the city - she’d just come straight home, where Vander had told her he’d gotten her a good job all lined up.
Vi trusted him, and so she hadn’t asked any questions when they’d gotten off the phone; she’d just packed her boxing gear and two duffel bags of shit and tossed all of it in her old beater of a pickup and made the trek back to Zaun.
Dinner last night had been great - dinner was always great at her dad’s house - and this morning she’d gotten up bright and early for her brand new job.
Which she really should have asked more details about.
Vi smiled and shook her head, walking across the empty parking lot and underneath the neon sign that read, in big, pink, cursive letters…Babette’s.
Her dad had gotten her a job at a strip club.

After a disastrous first visit to the renaissance faire, Caitlyn is ready to swear off the event entirely. Then she meets Vi, the faire's charming falconry expert, and something about her keeps drawing Caitlyn in, no matter how ridiculous the setting they find themselves in.
_She's dressed like most of the people Caitlyn's seen at the faire so far, a bit like a pirate in a billowy white shirt and striped trousers that do nothing to disguise the muscled body underneath. It's accessorized by knee-high boots and a pair of lopsided leather belts around her hips, as well as hoops pierced through her nose and ear. While Caitlyn feels ridiculous in her getup, this woman seems entirely at home in hers. She has pink hair that's been shaved on one side, and she'd left the laces of her shirt untied, exposing her collarbones and a tantalizing hint of tattoo ink peeking out from the collar.
Caitlyn somehow manages to take all of this in before she registers the brightly colored parrot perched on the woman's arm. The whole situation has clearly knocked her thoroughly off-kilter.
