    When Wei Ying died, he really did believe it was for the best.

    It had been months in the making—years if he was being honest. His resolve to live was like a cliffside that the ocean’s waves beat against again and again and again.     The picture is of Wei Ying, that much is clear. It’s of a lot more of Wei Ying than Lan Zhan is used to seeing. He supposes that, technically, Wei Ying is dressed. It’s a bare technicality, since one of Wei Ying’s hands has rucked up his black tank top practically to his collarbone, showing a long expanse of abdomen and one nipple. Sweat beads on his sternum, catching the light like jewels. His other hand is--Lan Zhan feels his eyes widen, as though unable to look away from a train wreck--on his hip, one thumb tugging down the waistband of a pair of red briefs. Wei Ying is biting his lower lip and looking directly into the camera, sultry, his eyes dark and inviting. His erection is obvious, outlined against the red of the briefs and framed carefully with the hand on his hip. Lan Zhan’s brain goes wildly, screamingly blank.

    “Woah!” Jisung said just as Minho was about to press their lips together. He pushed Minho back a little bit as he felt his heart rate accelerating. “I’m straight! I don’t! I’m not! No!”
    “Oh shit, I’m sorry.” Minho laughed, putting a little space between them and taking his hand from Jisung to rub the back of his hair as he smiled bashfully.
    “I don’t… Why did you think I was gay?” Jisung asked, his eyes wide and brow furrowed as he started to worry.
    “I didn’t look at you and think ‘he looks gay, I’m gonna kiss him’ I looked at you and thought ‘he looks pretty, I’m gonna try and kiss him’.”

    Jisung struggled to fit in, to feel normal and to flow with the rest of the world. He knew he liked women, of course he did. So why when he met Minho did everything become so much better and worse all at once?
