“You are not taking Uber alone to have four teeth pulled while you are terrified.”
    “I’m not terrified.”
“You called me at six in morning.”
    “Okay, maybe a little.”
    —
Luca calls his captain at six in the morning intending to cancel his wisdom-teeth appointment. Instead, Ilya and Shane pick him up, take him to the dentist, and somehow spend the rest of the day accidentally becoming his parents.

    Summary

If anyone ever asked, ever saw that green notification on his phone, he had a good excuse. In fact, he had two good excuses: 1. chirping Rozanov in his own language would throw him off worse than any chirp in English would and 2. there were a lot of Russian players in the league that he simply wanted to be more inclusive towards.

He may or may not have even had a list of who would be better suited to use each excuse on. (He did and he updated it in his mind once a week.)

He just never thought his learning Russian would be outed quite like this.

    Summary

Hindsight often brought things into perspective. Shane believed that if he were ever handed the keys to a time machine, he wouldn’t change anything about his life. But now that he was metaphorically sitting in the driver’s seat, keys in the ignition, he realized that was a fucking lie.

    Summary

Social media was flooded with tweets from people who spotted Shane Hollander buying something ridiculously expensive or romantic for his husband after a gossip account posted a paparazzi picture of him buying a Rolex for Ilya on a trip in NYC.

Soon, the hashtag #SugarBabyRozanov was trending worldwide on Twitter.

But rival players thought it was a good idea to use this to chirp Ilya. Or worst, to chirp Shane.

They are not ready for Shane to chirp back
