Summary
After leaving teaching behind for a less than dramatic return to heroics, Izuku is assigned perpetual nightshifts to ease the transition. Initially, he finds the dark hours peaceful, but when his coworker goes on sick leave and he has to patrol solo, he’s concerned about the creeping loneliness.
All of that changes when a crow appears, stalking him, stealing his coffee flavoured snacks and in shocking twist, helping him arrest attackers and chase thieves! Izuku wonders: Could it be the guiding crow god, Yatagarasu?!
Shouta meanwhile, is in a concealed state of misery. His co-worker and secret “unrequited” love has quit his job. Initially he thinks it's a good thing. He can finally lock away this pointless affection and focus on teaching… until a rare opportunity presents itself. A way that he can be close to his treasure without making a mistake and ruining their strictly professional relationship. With this, he can bask in all that beautiful warmth and enjoy those sweet, intelligent mumbles.
Maybe being the victim of a quirk attack is an opportunity, not an affliction…

Everyone knows to stay away from the dark forest for at the far edge beneath shadow of the mountain resides the home of the one known as Krampus. The dark counterpart to Santa Claus and unfortunately for Izuku the usual being Toshinori uses to give Krampus the Naughty List is too busy to deliver. Though after meeting the dark christmas being, Izuku thinks that maybe being on the Naughty List might not be so bad after all.

The wall between himself and everyone else that he built stone by stone by stone, to keep them— and himself— safe from inevitable hurt.
“You don’t even know me,” Takashi blurts.
Nishimura sits up. Kitamoto makes a grumbly noise and starts extracting himself from blankets. Shibata says “No no I finally got comfortable, Tanuma, come on,” but Tanuma is moving, too.
Ogata says, in a kind, careful voice, “Natsume, of course we know you.”
“Not everything,” Takashi insists, feeling his heart start to move a little faster. “You don’t— you don’t know everything.”
