“It's okay, fWhip,” Gem smiled, putting one of her hands on fWhip’s shoulder. He looked up at her. “I'll fix this.”
Gem changed into her nightgown, fWhip watching her, his nervous energy changing how the air in the room felt.
“What are you going to do now?” He asked, the voice of a scared little kid leaving his mouth.
“I am going to jump out of the window,” Gem said calmly. “And then I am going to head northwest.”
OR
Gem’s lives with visions of her dead mother, so when her living mother finds out, she tries to run away.
If only things could ever be that simple.

The silver axe dips gently into his line of sight. “Don’t become a problem, doc.”
“He did this to me,” Legundo growls.
“And once he’s cured, we can change you back too,” Abolish says. Whatever irregularity had disquieted his heart has eased, the pulse settled back into regulated meter. The axe doesn’t move. “I don’t need to kill you.”
Owen rolls his head towards Abolish, and in the process – intentionally or not – bares his neck further. “Oh, don’t spoil the fun, Abolish. He and I both knew it would come to this. I turn him, he kills me; fitting, in the end.”
An AU oneshot where newly-turned Legundo catches up with Owen and Abolish before they reach the beacon.

“You’re hogging the covers again,” fWhip muttered beside him, half-buried under the pile of quilts.
Scott smiled without opening his eyes. “I’m freezing. You’re the one who always runs hot.”
“I’m also the one who rebuilt this room from rubble, so maybe I get the extra blanket on principle.”
“Then maybe you shouldn’t have made it drafty,” Scott mumbled.
“I didn’t! That’s the stone’s fault. And your weird royal taste. Why does every castle need arched windows the size of a cart?”
“Because it looks dramatic.”
“It looks freezing.”
The tower has always been a place to retreat, not rebuild. But fWhip makes it easy to forget the difference.
Tea. Firelight. Silence. Scott could live in this moment forever.
And maybe, for a little while, he does.
