Summary
Somewhere in the next song, the alcohol rose within her and propelled her waist against Vi's, rolling, grinding, surging. The hands on her hips tightened slightly and Vi was saying something before catching her lower lip in her own teeth.
"What was that?" Caitlyn called over the roar of the club music.
"I said I want to—"
The song suddenly hit its drop, filling the dance floor with electrifying, dizzying beats. It drowned out the last of Vi's words, but Caitlyn watched as her lips formed around them.
I said I want to fuck you.

Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)

Summary
'Dear Violet, I hope this letter finds you well.
To say I have had a difficulty tracking you down would be
an understatement, but I ought to try, nonetheless. I am nothing if not persistent as you very well know. I have been informed that you still frequent at Babette’s, so I had this letter dropped there as I am unable to find your place of residence. Please know that your whereabouts is not information I had requested nor wanted
to know but was given, nonetheless.I know you were set on no contact, which I understand
this letter is not honouring but I have a favour to ask of you. Please understand that I know you don’t owe me anything,
and I wouldn’t ask if not necessary, but if you cared about me at
all, I hope you’ll do this one courtesy.I wish for a divorce.'
