    Summary

“For I am made in your image.” She whispers, digging her nails into the backs of her hands. She can feel the flaky remnants of nail polish on her nailbeds from where she’d scratched it off, terror gripping her at it being noticed.

“For you created male and female.” She whispers, feeling the tickle of her hair at the base of her neck. It’s been years since she’s cut it, but it’s becoming noticeable now. There are moments where she looks into her mirror and smiles guiltily at the waves cascading just past her shoulders.

“For it is sin to destroy your creation.” She whispers, tongue flicking nervously over her lips. They taste of cherry, left over lipgloss that she’d stolen from a younger girl a month ago. She still hadn’t confessed. Let her sin for a little longer. Let her taste that cherry, before it is ripped away.

    or,
Mizuki has spent the majority of her life growing up in a devout Catholic orphanage, facing constant persecution for her identity, until she meets 3 girls determined to help her.

    Summary

    A purple morning glory.

Flowers meaning fleeting love and affection, taken from their nature of blooming only in the early morning breeze, before wilting away in the afternoon and night.

But traditionally, it also meant unrequited love.

A symbol representing Ichika’s love for Shiho. Blooming from her chest and sprouting out her esophagus like some kind of sick joke.

But it wasn't a joke – this was all real, and the pain streaking down her windpipe was proof.

Ichika thinks the flowers growing in her lungs are worth more than anything else in the world

    Summary

Hinomori Shiho had always thought that romance was a shallow social construct that she would never take part in willingly. It was too overwhelming. Too fickle. Love from a partner wasn't something Shiho longed for.

So why was she laying on her bed at 2AM, staring blankly at the ceiling, thinking about Ichika of all people?

    Summary

The twilight was endured, and we now face towards dawn.

"She curled tighter into herself. Thunder rumbled overhead. The air smelt of ozone. Maybe this is what she deserves, to rot away in the storm of her own creation. To drown in the probably soon to be flooded streets, or maybe be struck by lightning, or maybe if she is lucky, a falling shingle will hit her head just right and kill her instantly."
