Summary
There's a pamphlet somewhere with Minho's whole childhood in it. Emotional numbing. A common trauma response. They gave it to his grandmother, patted her hand, and sent the two of them home into the rain.
He hadn't noticed anything was off. Trust other children to do the noticing, that unpaid council of experts on the playground, forever asking why his face just stayed shut when everyone else's flew open at the smallest thing.
He wakes on the couch with an alien boy sat on his chest and two small fingers hooking the corners of his mouth upwards.
"What are you doing."
"Making yours go like mine."
OR: local recluse Lee Minho, afraid of nothing much except the rain, finds the thing the village swears is a monster in the woods—and lets it stay.

Han Jisung wasn't looking for anything.

Then a stray kitten wandered into his shop.
Five minutes down the road was an animal shelter Jisung had passed hundreds of times without ever having a reason to stop.

Summary
Jisung sat in silence for a while, tugging at loose threads at a hole on the knee of his skinny jeans. Then he looked up again. “I don’t think this Changbin guy likes me.”
Minho scoffed, but had to smile. “I guess not. Too bad, huh?”Jisung moves to Seoul to chase his dream of becoming a musician, performing as Nanahan. He gets to know the punk bands Double Knot and Comflex, hoping to belong, but no one seems to like him.
Minho is reeling from an unmendable rift in his friends group, leaving two bands sharing a rehearsal studio but never meeting, when Jisung storms into his life. Minho's initial hesitation soon turns to infatuation.
Changbin is budging under guilt over the fallout, but as Seungmin starts to stay back to share rehearsal breaks with him, he finds himself affected.
With a major band competition coming up, all three bands are desperate to win. As tensions rise and emotions tangle, things begin to spiral… especially for Jisung and Minho, whose past trauma resurfaces, leaving them in the hands of uncontrollable emotion.

Summary
Minho looked lofty. “To write about something, you need to know the thing. You need to have felt it in your body. Maybe that’s where your writing is lacking?”
Jisung’s face flushed. What the—what was he… The content of what Minho’d said jumbled into a mess in his mind. “I’m not a virgin if that’s what you think.”
“I didn’t say you were,” Minho scoffed. “But the in-out itself is not where your scenes fall short, is it?'”
Jisung blinked at him. He’d always sensed that Minho was daring and a little reckless, but this… “What are you suggesting, really?”
Minho’s eyes deepened. “I show you. Each one of those items on the list. So you can feel them in your body.”
Jisung is devastated, since his editor told him he needs to improve the emotional impact of the sex scenes in his yet unpublished novel. That’s hard, since he hasn't really been in a relationship before. Out of sheer desperation he shows the list of requested improvements to his neighbour and friend, the successful author Minho, who immediately offers to help out.
