Summary
The demon Crowley has gone rogue.
Precisely what “rogue” looks like on a demon who was never anyone’s idea of “manageable” is something neither Heaven nor Hell is currently equipped to deal with. Hell is rebuilding and Heaven, under the auspices of the Supreme Archangel Aziraphale, is focused on spreading the Word of their prophet, known as the Second Coming--of what, exactly, remains unspecified. Neither side seems to remember who Crowley used to be, nor have they bothered to change the passwords.
The Metatron has no interest in demons, rogue or otherwise. His Plan is going swimmingly and he couldn't be more pleased. Now if only he could figure out who’s responsible for all these unauthorised miracles that just keep happening, far and wide, on planet Earth.

Summary
Ten months after the Metatron blew up their lives at the end of season 2, Heaven has placed a temptation in Crowley’s path. It's a trap, of course, and Crowley knows it, but not the kind of trap that he thinks. And, bless him, he can't resist walking straight into it. Literally physically injured, Crowley must jump headlong into saving... something. But he'll have to make a terrible choice.
The story has a healthy dollop of Crowley working through his (ahem) personal demons, and grief. It has some romance, but also some harsh truths for Aziraphale, several jaunts back in time (though, not too far back!), and some exposed fuckery on the part of Heaven (the good guys, right?). I promise a happy ending, but it might be a rough road getting there... but would we have it any other way?

Summary
Fifteen years have passed since Aziraphale returned to Heaven, and still sometimes Crowley feels shell shocked and embarrassed and grief-stricken. And mostly, he still feels numb. Fifteen years isn’t really so long, in the grand scheme of things, and yet these have somehow been the longest years of his existence. He can almost feel time crawling by, laughing at him.
But slowly, so slowly, Crowley began to try again. To try harder. To find a piece of himself that Aziraphale had not touched. To find a piece of himself that does not need changing.
On his good days, he can open up. His friends come over to the flat, once in a while, and Maggie brings new records and Muriel brings burnt cookies that no-one complains about because they're so proud of them. They'll exchange stories and simply enjoy each other's company for a few hours.
And sometimes, he feels almost alright.
Until Crowley turns around and Aziraphale is there, standing in front of him, trying to stop the world from ending all over again.

Absolutely on point. Crowleys POV is very much in character. Sad, heartbreaking and he is not forgiving Az after five minutes. He loves him sure, but he is for once putting himself first. Sets boundaries.
Realistic and happy ending.
First read: 29.11.25
One of the better ones IMO ~ top 15 at leastReread 8.2.26 cried through most of it. I must say: ich mag ihn einfach nicht. Er ist ein rotes tuch . I know deep down they belong together and still … maybe I read too many post S2 fics and fanon and canon are mixed up in my head and my feelings. All those hurtful words he says (IN THE SHOW and in all those fics!) to Crowley…. sigh.
22.8.26 reread after the movie. Aziraphale in my eyes did not redeem himself and whilst reading I noticed my feelings towards him haven’t changed at all.
THIS IS A MUCH MUCH BETTER SEASON THREE!! -

“Hmm, that wouldn't do, would it? I'm about to open your trousers, might be a good time to stop time, do you think?”
Crowley held time and his breath on the same thought, right when he felt his trousers being pulled down, right in the middle of the restaurant.
Aziraphale ignored it all as naturally as only one with a former archangel on the mercy of his whims could.
Let his hands roam the soft flesh of his inner thighs, damp as if he'd worn wet clothes.
Slid his middle finger beneath the elastic band of his knickers, traced the wet labia.
Crowley looked at the frozen people all around him, gasping and grasping the table in white knuckles. Closed his eyes when he felt two digits sliding all the way in, his reaction immediate: spread his legs as far as the bunched trousers on his knees would allow him, dropped his head back and moaned self-conscious.
Felt Aziraphale fuck him hard another four or five times, and opened his eyes unexpectedly when he felt those same fingers tap on his lower lip.
"Taste it."

Aziraphale has a cunning plan: use semi-false pretenses to get Crowley to come with him for a couples relationship retreat. That'll solve everything, certainly.

Reread 11.2.26 omg mein Freund wird er nicht mehr…upsili rereading again because I needed realistic conversation.
Hopefully he can redeem himself in S3. I don’t like him. At all and I think he is so fucking righteous…blergh if Crowley had any other options he should LEAVE FOR GOOD 12.4.26The awful movie didn’t resolve anything. Both were extremely out of character. No talking about their relationship at all. No chance of redemption for Aziraphale.
