    Simple and straight to the point—Usagi begins to believe they will get along.

    “I did,” he admits, running his thumb over his wedding ring. He hadn't taken it off for a moment since he first put it on, and from what he could tell, Leo wore his with equal devotion. Neither of them had ever mentioned it aloud.

    Raph glances at his hand, frowns, but doesn't comment.

    “What happened to him?”

    When Sonic was just a child, he was taken in by GUN. He was raised and trained with the hope that one day, he could be the upper hand they need to capture Shadow, a dangerous and powerful creature that escaped their clutches fifty years ago and has been in hiding ever since. After they’re alerted to Shadow’s location, his capture is inevitable. As Sonic witnesses the inhuman treatment his fellow colleagues cast upon the hedgehog, he starts to question his life and how he’s treated by his “family”. He finds himself deeply drawn to this enigmatic, misanthropic hedgehog, the only individual he’s ever met that looks like him and understands the animalistic parts of him.
