Summary
Ritchie Gettem was as excited as could be for his journey to start. He'd tell anyone about just how excited he was. From his father to the local gym leader to his new friend at the Ranger Base to the people in the group chat on the mysterious phone he found. Ritchie would tell them all. Sure, he wasn't a Pokémon Trainer yet, but it was only a matter of time. He had an appointment and everything.
Kellyn Hajime had worked very hard to get where he was. He'd gone through the grueling training in his apprenticeship, and is finally fully qualified as a Pokémon Ranger. It's only fitting that he be given a reward of some kind, right? Sure, he wasn't expecting that reward to be a mysterious phone that connects him to not only his excitable friend in Kanto, but some of the most brilliant scientific minds of the world, but he can make it work. At least he'll have plenty of paperwork to do now.

Ash walked past her, and would have kept walking, except that a picture on Chrysa’s tablet caught his eye. He drew to a halt.
Chrysa saw him looking and shifted her tablet to give him a better view.
The screen showed an article from a celebrity news outlet. At the top, there was a picture of a young woman with light brown hair, standing with a young man whose hair was pale green. A title above read ‘A Coordinator Love Story! (The Inside Scoop)’, and in the middle of the page was a video thumbnail. It showed a man with long purple hair, dressed in dark green clothes that resembled a Cacturne.

Summary
It’s been nearly 27 years since Eva Stratt forced Ryland Grace to board the Hail Mary and sent him off to his death for the greater good of mankind.
