    Summary

“For someone who is so distrustful of politicians, he seems to be enjoying the company of a certain Senator. He was seen leaving the Senator’s residency at a very late hour. In a rather…compromising manner, I might add. People could very easily think that there was something more going on. ”

Anakin looked truly puzzled now, and Sheev could almost hear how the gears were turning in his head. He waited, patiently, for them to finally click, and that moment came soon, as understanding suddenly dawned upon Anakin’s face.

    “But, he’s a married man!”

Sheev couldn’t quite stop his face from dropping from sheer confusion.

    What?

    -

Or, Palpatine attempts to manipulate Anakin, just a little bit, to turn him further away from Obi-Wan.

It doesn't go quite as he planned.
