The Streep/Hemsworth/Close/Freeman/Foster/Swift family did not pass on last names. The did pass on Hanahaki syndrome, a fatal affliction where flowers will bloom from one's throat when in love, unless it's reciprocated. Unfortunately, they also passed on emotional incompetence.
Hanahaki AU following Meryl, Christine, Glenn, and Nick. Some of these are happy endings, some not, some depends on reader perceptive. As always, I project on my favorite dysfunctional family. Yes, I named Christine 'Christine Hemsworth', and her own mother is named 'Pierce Brosnan'. The first one because its funny, the second because it's also funny and because of Mama Mia.
