Nine. He gasps out a breath as the feeling of magic surges around him. He felt himself begin to be sucked into the ground. This wasn't a part of the spell, what the hell? His hands reached for the desk, but he missed. "Shit! Shit!" Something had to have gone wrong, why wasn't he invisible? He could clearly see his tan hands, he should've been transparent!
He reaches for his spell book. He misses by a millimeter. Suddenly, the room was chaotic and the next it was quiet. All that was left was the spell book left on an outstretched page.

Summary
Darryl Wilson wasn't the bravest man that Earth has ever seen. He would hide from his feelings a lot. Maybe he'd just pretend something would go away if he closed his eyes tight enough. However, this wasn't just anything. The newest and biggest problem in his life was coming to haunt him from his past. The reasoning of course was because of Henry Oak.
Yes, the teen he'd found in the woods so many years ago was back. He was back, and he was still here in San Dimas California.
