Summary
"Peter. We need to talk." Natasha’s calm voice continued, “Are you aware that your . . . unusual method of clearing up a hostage situation has gone viral?"
“Uhhhhhhhh . . . “ Nope. Nada. Nothing. That rang precisely zero bells.
“Fine then, does this jog your memory any? ‘I’m summoning the spiders.’”
Huh? Wait, why did that soun-oh. Oh, crap.
Based on a shot in the comics where Spider-Man handles a hostage situation with a rather spectacular bluff. This is one idea about what could have happened afterwards, once word about it got out and nobody could agree on whether Spider-Man had a ridiculous formerly-secret super power or was just an idiot. The Black Widow is the only one who knows for sure, and she's going to enjoy calling our favorite spider-powered disaster on it while Peter is busy setting a new record for 'most panic attacks had in the course of a single conversation.'

Summary
Written for the Norsekink prompt: "SHIELD has Loki in custody, with the gag on to keep him from spellcasting, but they don't really know what to DO with him. They can't give him food or water or attempt to interrogate him with the gag on, and they don't dare take it off. Their solution? Call in a telepath! But Charles Xavier may find more things in Loki's head than SHIELD bargained for..."

After the Avengers movie Thor accidentally makes the trip home sans brother, leaving Loki as SHIELD's problem by default.
Thor promises to return for him but then never shows, and an increasingly desperate Nick Fury refuses to deal with the sort of interplanetary incident an alien prince dying in his custody would cause. Eventually out of options, Fury calls in the only person he can think of who stands a chance of potentially mentally restraining Loki from using his sorcery. Professor X reluctantly arrives to help with a supervillain, only to find himself ridiculously overqualified to deal with what turns out to be the alien version of a traumatized older teen with incredibly dangerous powers and internalized racism in need of some understanding and support. -

Summary
The Shawarma Stop was dull and boring, but Natasha had a self-assigned mission, Bruce was sleep eating, Thor's mind was elsewhere, Steve had severly misjudged Tony, and Clint was blaming it all on Natasha. As for Peter, he was glad his father was alive, and Tony, he was just happy that he didn't have to condemn the world for the World Council's attempt at killing his son with a nuke.
This is the aftermath.

Bookmarker's Notes
The MCU Avengers movie went down, but with the slight change that Tony has a kid, Peter. Nobody knew, to the point where even Natasha somehow didn't find out during her stint as his secretary, and she thought she'd found out everything. Natasha is now Unimpressed finding out otherwise, and has some questions for and about the two of them which WILL be answered.

What if the prophecy wasn't as literal as Dumbledore assumed? Sometimes, sleep deprivation can be helpful. Set post fifth year, a bit (very) OOC.

Harry Potter has not slept in four days, which is apparently long enough to think that writing to Lord Voldemort is a good idea. After all, with his family breaking new ground in awful treatment and his friends and allies absent and silent, shouldn't he at least thank the one honest, consistent presence in his life for always being there for him?
And weirdly enough, a grudgingly amusing letter-writing conversation somehow eventually evolves into a friendship - yeah, they're not certain how this happened either but apparently it is now A Thing so they're stuck with each other. Go figure.
(This should probably be tagged with a child abuse warning though, especially since it gets pretty heavy and Harry's in very rough shape at the end.) -

What if Regulus Black, and not Severus Snape, ended up being the turncoat Potions Master of Hogwarts?
A not!fic written in bullet points, ignoring the Deathly Hallows entirely because they annoy me.

100% crack and one of the greatest things you'll ever read.
On the train to Hogwarts that fall Harry is approached by a hooded Draco Malfoy, whose hair is utterly covered in red glitter. “Potter,” says Malfoy, through clenched teeth, “tell me there is a way to get this off.”
“Holy shit,” says Harry, staring. “You look like a really shiny Weasley.”
“Potter,” says Malfoy, clearly inches away from hexing everything in sight.

Summary
“Nearly there,” Hermione is telling him softly. “You’ve done it, Harry, you’ve done so well. We’re nearly there, and then you can rest.”
“Hell, you can check out now if you’d like, mate,” says Ron, with a lightness he doesn’t really feel. He’s counting Harry’s heartbeats, matching his breaths, compiling this proof that Harry came back alive because it’s so much a miracle Ron almost can’t believe it. “I’ll carry you to the castle like a proper knight, and everyone will be too impressed with your victory to take the piss out of you.”
“Ron, honestly,” says Hermione.
Harry’s shoulders shake, the ghost of a laugh, and then the woods don’t seem quite as dark.
