Summary
When Steve finds himself as the last of his friends left in Hawkins with no suitors on the horizon, he agrees to let his parents set him up with one of their chosen alphas.
Adam is nice. Normal. But a year in, Adam is still dragging his feet about having kids, the one thing Steve asked for in their arrangement, and the fighting begins. When things get violent, Steve finds himself on the run, unknowingly putting himself on the path toward the Munson Rehabilitation Ranch and the small family that owns it. More importantly, he's sent barreling toward the owners' alpha nephew, Eddie Munson.

Summary
Every so often, when the seasons turn and they grow impatient, the Hawkins Elite play at 'bringing back the glory of the old days' with a now less than traditional mating hunt. Their children are kidnapped, drugged, tagged, and collared to contain them in a designated locked down area; guaranteeing they will end up mated to someone of their parent's determined standard and class all the while making a game of the lives they consider their property. Many even gambling on which of their children will be paired. This year, they have been set free in the woods near Lovers Lake.
Eddie Munson just wanted coffee before heading in for a shift at his soul crushing mall job, looking past the unassuming but literal signs warning him to go elsewhere... and unfortunately for him, Eddie's always been good at running.

Steve let himself lean the tiniest bit heavier into Eddie’s side, like a plant toward sunlight. His hand slid, slow and unsure, until his fingers found the edge of Eddie’s and curled there, not quite a full grip, but something.
“Thanks,” he whispered, so quietly Eddie almost missed it.
“For what?” Eddie murmured back.
“For… letting me just be–me. I guess?” Steve huffed a small laugh. “That’s so lame. Forget I said that.”
Eddie squeezed his hand, just once.
“Anytime,” he said.
