Summary
“Last thing I remember is you crawling with those stupid vampire teeth. You were so cheesy.” Will laughs lightheartedly.
“When did you become so mean, Will?” Mike tries to look hurt but is beaming with excitement. “You have to admit it was at least a bit hot.”
“Hot?” Will can’t hold his smile. “Were you trying to be hot?” He teases Mike.
“Wow, rude.” Mike raises his eyebrow playfully. “Then what do you consider hot?”
“I don’t know but not that.” He blurts.
“Come on, Sorcerer. You have to be more specific than that.”
After mysterious VHS tapes begin appearing in front of Mike and Will, they’re forced to watch alternate versions of themselves fall in love over and over again.
Some versions kiss instantly. Some burn slowly. Some are brave enough to tell the truth.
But with every tape, it becomes harder for Mike to ignore what he wants — and harder to believe none of it could ever be real.

Summary
“I sometimes wish that I never said yes,” he starts trembling.
“What?” Mike freezes.
“In kindergarten,” Will adds, almost inaudible.
Mike’s heart skips a bit. He thinks he can no longer breathe.
“Why?” Mike asks, but it comes out in a strange voice. It feels like someone else is speaking.
After everything — the monsters, the distance, the years of almost — Mike and Will finally learn how to choose each other.
It happens quietly. In shared glances. In late-night confessions. In a winter that feels softer than the ones before.
And for the first time, neither of them is afraid of what comes next.
