Summary
“He broke my camera!” Tim wails, incensed. “Not a crack, not a dent; it’s nothing but a pile of glass because he broke it!”
“And his ankle,” Robin adds.
“And my ankle!”
“...I accidentally hit him with my car,” Batman reluctantly offers when Dr. Thompkins raises her eyebrow at him, causing her to choke on her next breath.
(Or: One evening while birdwatching, a ten year old Tim Drake gets run over by the Batmobile.)

Summary
He’s in his Red Robin uniform, and the sight of it brings his most recent memories into stark focus. He remembers the magician Nightwing and himself had been called in to help Batman and Robin apprehend. He remembers the snarl on the man’s face as he’d flung brightly colored spells around at random, equal parts furious and desperate after Robin had successfully relocated the hostage. He remembers a deep blue spell heading towards Nightwing’s unprotected back.
He remembers stepping into the line of fire.

“Last week, Richard was showing me this show called ‘Bill Nye the Science Guy’—”
“BILL, BILL, BILL, BILL, BILL, BILL,” Richard, Jason, and Drake chant as one immediately.
“Bill Nye the science guy,” Father finishes under his breath, and all three of his brothers proceed to lose their minds. Damian stares aghast at his father, and is gratified to see him wince.
“I had to,” Father offers apologetically, as if that explains anything.

Summary
He spots the robin on a tree branch maybe thirty feet away, and Tim, grinning, goes to adjust the settings on the binoculars.
It's exactly then that he realizes what's behind the bird.
Because from here, on the third story and at just this angle, there's no treeline to block his view. Behind the little robin singing on its branch, he can see the Wayne family manor, clear as anything, close enough that it almost feels like he could reach out and touch it. One of the windows on the downstairs floor is open, and it's draped with light curtains that float softly in the breeze. A moment later, a different sort of Robin bounds into view, sans mask, grin wide and bright.
Tim flinches back as though burned.

Summary
“My family will flay them alive for this,” the boy spat from the darkness of the adjacent cage.
Tim didn't know who the arrogant eight-year-old beside him was. He didn't know about the boy's family, or the storm brewing on the outside. All he knew was that four years in a subterranean lab had taught him how to survive—and that he wasn't going to let the Doctor break the little kid.
Tim has a secret, a cage door between them, and a dangerous plan. But getting the fiery boy out alive might cost Tim everything he has left.Series

Summary
If he survived the next ten hours, Tim would swear on Batman, Nightwing, and his collection of Robin trading cards to never, ever go on a mission with Jason ever again.
Especially not if the man promised that it would be “easy” and “over before you know it”.
OR: A case in Norfolk goes sideways – Tim pays the price.
