    *UPDATED SUMMARY*
It’s the start of Xaden’s final year in the Rider’s Quadrant. As wingerleader of the fourth wing. He has a lot on his plate. A secret rebellion, weapon smuggling, and keeping the marked ones alive.
General Lilith Sorrengail has add to that list by asking him to make sure her youngest child, Violet Sorrengail survives her first year in the quadrant. If he fails then him and all 107 marked ones are dead.
Unfortunately or fortunately for him Violet brings along a tag along no one was expecting. Meet Keir, Violet’s Hound, who is over 200-pounds and 4-feet at the shoulder Mabari. All black fur with golden brown eyes. He is full of mischief, highly intelligent and loyal to his Mama. Follow Violet’s Hound from the POV of Xaden Riorson aka Broody aka soon to be Broody Papa.

    “Was that your first kiss?”

    “No.”

“No?” Fiyero gasped so theatrically she had to laugh. “Oh now I have to know, who is it that I have to be jealous of the rest of my days?”

She snorted and smacked him lightly in the arm.

“Some boy at a party.” She waved it off, “I never even knew his name.”
