    “Marry me.”
He said it with such blasé that you weren’t sure you heard him correctly. Silence surrounded the two of you and he leaned down and tilted his head, watching you like a specimen under a microscope.
“Just for a year. A marriage of convenience. Consider it nothing more than a harmless experiment for the sake of curiosity.”

    Summary

‘The Heavens mean nothing. Those that forsake others that do not conform to their unspoken laws are not worthy to call themselves “Gods”.’ Spoke the Heretic.
‘The Heavens would not have made such things possible if they were not meant to be explored.’ Agreed the Apostate.
Such was the decree of the Outcasts.

After years of relying on only each other to survive, the Gods had sent their divine punishment upon them for their transgressions. Gone in an instant, with so many words left unsaid. The Heretic forced himself forward. The Apostate, left behind.
Now, almost 400 years later, you wake up in a world that never bothered to record your name in its history. With only a mask as your sole protection, you must navigate a court that will tear you limb from limb and leave the undesired remains to freeze. Play along with The Tsaritsa’s game, and She will bless you with answers you will not understand.

    But he will.

    Summary

Growing up, you'd always heard that Il Dottore was many things: genius, madman, miracle-worker.

After working under him, you realise that he's every bit as complicated as the rumours make him sound. He allows no room for mistakes, but tolerates failure. He hates the cold, but spends most of his days in the most frigid parts of Snezhnaya, staring over the winter sea. He's always homesick for a place across that same sea he was never truly able to call his. The list goes on.

Yes, you have come to learn, Il Dottore is a walking mess of contradictions.

More heretic than god. More god than heretic. Never one, and never both.

And sometimes, in the brief, selfish moments he lets you witness—more man than monster.
