Quite OOC and very different from the fandom in general since Buck's entire backstory changes. But I liked how it goes, and the family with Jake and Brian, and then Bravo team and then finding LAFD. Slow burn indeed but that way it made sense and was pretty solid by the time it happens. Clay was a good character.

Parker didn't bother looking up from her tablet. "Now that sounds like the definition of not my business," she drawled. "But if you see any hot man-on-man action, note the date and time. Ahmad's got a pool going."

Buck lifted his eyes, they widened when he met Eddie’s gaze, “Eddie, I—” He tried to move, but was easily pulled back, “I’m sorry.”
Eddie rushed to reassure, “It’s okay, look…” He got onto one knee, sitting Christopher down, he looped his arms under his son’s, and turned him, so that he was facing Buck, “Look who it is.”
Christopher extended his hand, gently laying it across Buck’s cheek, “Buck.”

That was amazing! Great writing, and really interesting and not so easy to try again with your parents when you've had Eddie's life. Buck is quite in the background but a steady presence that really makes the difference for the Diaz boys.
