Sleeping with his king — in the state Arthur was in that night.
The worst part is, he doesn’t even remember all of it.— Just enough.The kiss. Arthur’s mouth, warm against his own. The breathless moans pulled from his throat. The way it felt like he was drunk — but even without the potion that caused all of this, Merlin knew one touch from Arthur would make him feel like he'd spent two whole weeks drinking in the tavern.
And flashes of what came next.
Enough to know that this time, he truly fucked up.
So when he wakes, naked in his king’s bed, Merlin does the only thing he can — he grabs his clothes and runs.
He barely makes it to Gaius’s chambers, disheveled and panicked, only to find the old man already holding the book Merlin now realizes — far too late — he mistranslated.
And in that moment, it hits him. There is no undoing this.“Merlin,” Gaius says, voice low “pack your things. Go as far away as you can."

Arthur was being too much, and Merlin—a clumsy fool—mistranslated an ancient text and brewed a potion meant to calm His Majesty, only to end up pregnant with the king’s child instead.

Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...

Arc 1 - (chapters 1-32, 90k words) What happens when you accidentally tell your father you're gay and in love with Merlin and he ships it hard? You make it true.
Arc 2 - (chapters 33-70, 110k words) What happens when your father sends you to court someone you have no interest in? Side quests and Gwaine.

Summary
Something was wrong.
Not the “the world is ending, and we’re all going to die” sort of wrong, but an odd, humming some kind of wrong that Merlin could feel threading through the halls of Camelot like an intruder. He reached out with his magic more than once, trying to taste the disturbance, but nothing tugged back. Nothing whispered danger. Nothing even shimmered suspiciously.
Still…Something felt off. As if certain people were keeping very specific secrets. Important secrets.
Normally, that would have been fine. Merlin had secrets too, the kind he intended to keep tucked away until the end of his days – preferably long after that, if fate allowed. But this was about Gwen.

Where Merlin finds out about Gwens' secret, and it might change everything he and Arthur know about themselves and their feelings towards one another (along some other encounters).

Summary
The Prince, despite his best efforts, could not stop his hand from shaking as he held his sword to Merlin’s- no, not Merlin’s- pulse. The boy tried to crawl backwards a bit, away from the sharp edge, but Arthur just moved forward with him. The sword trembled with adrenaline against the sorcerer’s pale skin.
Arthur couldn’t help but notice the boy’s ruddy cheeks, bright red from the cold and exertion. The snow made light dance in his tear tracks. The neckerchief that Merlin commonly wore was discarded on the snow; It must have fallen during the fight. It left his smooth neck exposed to the cold, riddled with goosebumps, and unmarred save for the blood-soaked steel, pressing in on his pulse point. Arthur could not deny that the… thing wearing Merlin’s face was beautiful.
Merlin is forced to reveal his powers during an attack. Chaos and angst ensue. I feel like most people give Arthur too much credit in magic reveals.
