Two: he had disappeared when Dagur was about seventeen years old, leaving him the title of Berserker Chief, which set off a winding domino chain of events that Hiccup didn’t have the time to think about without a good rest (and, if he were being honest, a good drink) afterwards.

    And, newly discovered, three: he had some… questionable parenting practices. If Dagur was to be believed, of course.
