Summary
Suzuki Hajime secretly writes BL novels and spends most of his time worrying whether his stories are actually good. One day, his classmate Serizawa Haruto accidentally gets his hands on Suzuki’s plot notes and discovers his secret.
Instead of making fun of him, Serizawa reveals that he’s also a fudanshi who loves BL. The two quickly bond over their favorite authors, tropes, and preferences.
Serizawa becomes Suzuki’s first reader and pushes him to finish his unfinished novel. As Suzuki writes, Serizawa stays beside him, feeds him lunch, teases him, and gets increasingly close.
What starts as a shared BL hobby soon leaves Suzuki wondering whether the situations he writes about are becoming a little too similar to his own life.

Niall sniffles, throat struggling against a too-rough swallow, another whimper worming itself out one second later when warm fingers wrap themselves around his waist, cradling the softness there, and lips press their warmth against one overheating cheek, this feather-soft pressure.
“I’m not laughing, Bambers,” Ruben whispers, “not laughing at all.” He inches between Niall’s thighs, the movement neither cautious nor rushed but some tender in between, fingertips tracing the tiny bones of Niall’s ribcage—then the softness gathered near the hip. Thumb swirling there in steady circles. “Do you need to come, sweet thing, need your big brother’s help?”
Ruben tries teaching Niall how to swim before he goes to off to uni.
