They wandered up and down the mountain with Xian-gege sniffling along the ground. A-Yuan wasn’t sure what he was looking for, or why they stopped to stay at the places they did. Sometimes they would travel days before finding somewhere Xian-gege deemed safe to settle.
A-Yuan didn’t know why they never stayed in one place very long. They never came across other shifters or humans. A-Yuan couldn’t fully remember, but he was pretty sure he used to live with others like him. But that was a long time ago.
