“No, um,” Vidal let out a chuckle, watching intently as Agatha rose from her seat. “Professor Calderu told me about you when I showed her my student roster. She said to look for a wild head of hair and piercing blue eyes…along with a permanent scowl.”
“My reputation precedes me,” Agatha grumbled, trying to inhale through her mouth rather than her nose to tamp down the professor’s scent. “What’s up? I have to be on the opposite side of campus in ten minutes, so I’d appreciate making this quick.”
“Oh,” Vidal blinked a few times, stunned by her bluntness. “Yeah, no worries. I was just letting you know that Calderu speaks very highly of you and as long as you’re as dedicated a student as she says you are, I’d really like to keep you in mind for the TA position, should you want it.”
“You have no issue with choosing an omega for a position of authority?” Agatha cocked her head, crossing her arms.
“Why would I?”
She scoffed, raising her chin to communicate she was not intimidated. “‘Cause you’re an alpha.”
“And…?”

Dr. Vidal takes the wand and slowly slips it inside of her. It goes in seamlessly. Agatha’s neck feels tense, and she tries to lean her head back to loosen things up.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Dr. Vidal looks up at Agatha with big baby brown eyes. “If you’re anxious, we can stop, or I can give you a pheromone patch—”
“I’m perfectly fine,” Agatha snaps, and then she blurts out, “I’m not nervous!”
Dr. Vidal just blinks at her owlishly, and Agatha presses her lips together. Fuck. What if the doctor connects the dots? Agatha isn’t nervous, just embarrassed. It isn’t her fault she encompasses a physical body and, by objective accounts, Dr. Vidal is attractive.
And smells good.
Whatever.
“Okay,” Dr. Vidal says softly. “My apologies.”
_____OR, Agatha finds herself in a predicament: she's pregnant, single, and in her forties, and the only gynecologist that is qualified to help her is alpha Dr. Rio Vidal.

Summary
How deranged can she be? Wanda knows there are consequences of experiencing trauma, and Wanda has experienced it. A lot. Not only did she not want any people close, she didn't want any doctors, helpers, or strangers. Strangers, she didn't know how to read because people who are supposed to help only hurt. People say one thing, then do something opposite. People revealing their true selves— the evil self. Selves without compassion.
Wanda didn't want to find out what kind of person Rio was. A stranger, that's it. Wanda did not want any more disappointments, even if she had already stopped being overly naive.
