Summary
Shadow darted behind the various saturated buildings of New Yoke. He could’ve sworn he saw the loop-de-loop of Green Hill in the distance once, but ignored it.
Getting home is still possible.
As he snuck throughout the city, he noted how certain styles of buildings were slammed into one place. Shadow couldn’t figure out what exactly it meant though. He also kept an eye out for robots and the giant tractor light that would flash over the city every so often.
He glanced at the big clock that overlooked the city. An hour had gone by since he left the Resistance’s place. And Shadow was getting close to the Yoke.
I’ll retrace my steps and make note of the various hiding places. Shadow didn’t need to go all the way to the Yoke, it would only increase the chances of him getting caught.
Shadow didn’t notice the hidden security camera that had just locked onto him.
OR
An alternate universe of Sonic Prime where the Council wins the Prism first instead of Nine. Shadow gets captured and is used for Prism experimentation while Sonic tries to find him.

Stede can’t help crying out in pain, in the next beat, finally giving in when an instinctive sound comes up. It’s loud, and the crew goes dead silent around him.
Stede doesn’t even notice. He’s just trying to breathe, skin tugging painfully, when a door bangs open at the opposite end of the ship.
