Or Peter is madly in love with Wade, and plans to meet him on top of his apartment building to reveal his identity. Wade thinks Peter is standing on the ledge ready to jump, and takes it upon himself to make sure he gets home safe and finds a reason to live again.

Summary
It was a dull day at the station with no cases coming in, leaving Lassiter with nothing to do other than do paperwork all day. That is, until a mysterious woman came into the station, wanting to reopen an old case.
“My name is Natasha Peck, and the case that I’m asking you to reopen is a stolen car case from 1995 where my friend named Shawn Spencer was arrested for stealing a car, and I have the evidence proving that he didn’t.” She said, before putting an old video camera down on Lassiter’s desk in front his paperwork and crossing her arms.
And what’s on that camera ended up changing the way he viewed the psychic forever, and for the better.
Or
Shawn didn’t actually steal a car, it was just a huge misunderstanding with a deeper story.
