Xie Lian felt as Hua Cheng's hands slid down to his waist. The intent was clear. It always started like this, right before Hua Cheng flipped him over and worshipped his body in every possible way. But tonight Xie Lian had different plans. He suddenly grabbed onto the Ghost Kings wrists and pinned them to each side of his head.
The look on Hua Cheng's expression was surprising. His jade black eye looked up at his God with no movement, completely still.
Xie Lian chuckled gently before pecking his cheek.
“I'm sorry, San Lang, but please indulge me tonight.”Or
Xie Lian decides that he wants to be the one to reduce Hua Cheng to a puddle of pleasure, but to have that, he has to break down his lovely husband's restraint.

But Xie Lian asks the question so gently, so imploringly. How can Hua Cheng deny him when he can feel the steady thump of his god's heart beneath his palm?
Or: Hualian try out the memory-eating monster on Hua Cheng, but his younger self is less accustomed to affection than expected.

And of course he has to be having one of these episodes now, now that he’s forced to voice all his worst, cruelest thoughts aloud.]
Or: Hua Cheng is cursed to give his unfettered opinions on himself. This goes exactly as well as you'd expect.
