Summary
When Sally Jackson dies in a tragic car accident while trying to temporarily escape the world of the divine, Percy's grief leads him to unofficially forsake the gods and run away to Gotham, where his mom's cousin Bruce lives.
Of course, even in the one city where the gods are supposed to be without any sort of power, Percy still manages to get himself into trouble--trouble unlike anything he's faced before. Donning a new identity, he joins the likes of Batman and Nightwing as Gotham's newest vigilante: Orca, while trying to protect his previous identity from his new family. But what happens when the reason the gods stay so firmly away from Gotham reveals itself to Percy, and he isn't sure if he can handle it on his own?In other words: Percy becomes a vigilante in Gotham while simultaneously living with the Wayne family, who just can't seem to figure him out...

Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”
“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)
