Daniel is a Guardian Angel or something, Chris is -as usual- a national treasure, the 118 are a supportive, loving family and Buck and Eddie are lovable, pining idiots who are so in love with each other and finally figure it out (in the most dramatic way possible, as expected). Love it. -

Summary
It all starts a few weeks after Eddie’s tía Pepa helps move abuela back to the family they have in El Paso.
Eddie is spiraling and he’s apt to blame the heat of the summer rather than the subpar performance he’s delivering in regards to being the perfect boyfriend with Ana, but he’s not gonna look too closely at that. No one needs to know about the panic attacks, the way his body flushed with heat when Dr. Salazar simply mentioned the word repressed.
He’s handling it. Poorly, sure. But his relationship with Ana couldn’t withstand the honeymoon phase forever. At some point, things had to evolve from brunch dates and cups of coffee to meaningful conversations and thoughts about the future. He just thought he’d have more time, that’s all.
or: Eddie takes up knitting and finds that maybe he should listen to the universe after all.
