Summary: Unbeknownst to the other Avengers Tony has a shadow on his daily coffee runs/mandatory outside time. It seems harmless and he doesn’t mind the little presents (flowers, or muffins etc.) that his new and strange friend leaves for him at “their” bench, and actually enjoys his quiet company. Queue Steve, being the overprotective alpha he is, having Tony followed one afternoon and getting quite the shock.

LeClaire’s hand is still on his shoulder, and Ilya knows that it doesn’t look like anything. A coach speaking to one of his players. LeClaire’s heat seeps through his suit jacket, and his breath is a warm, damp wash of air against Ilya’s ear.
“They’ve finished up with the awards,” he murmurs. “You look like you’re ready to get out of here.”
Ilya nods tightly and sets his drink down on the table.

Summary
It’s funny, really. He knows he wants kids, but it was something playing second fiddle. If Shane didn’t want them, that’d be okay. But knowing Shane wants that too?
He wasn’t going to be able to stop thinking about it.
He wants Shane’s baby. He wants to carry Shane’s baby. And logically, he should be more nervous about it, but he’s not. He’s more than willing to give up hockey for a season, maybe two, to have a baby. He doesn’t need hockey the same way that Shane does. It’s a job, not a lifeline. He could handle the havoc it will wreak on his body in a way that would be difficult for Shane. He doesn’t need the same level of control over his body.
Even if he didn’t love the idea, which he kind of does, he’d do it just to keep Shane comfortable.
So, to him, it’s decided.
He’s going to have Shane’s baby.

Ilya Rozanov has a plan.
He and Shane are stupidly, disgustingly, almost offensively in love. They want a family. They're ready for the next impossible thing.
Just one problem: Shane has two good years left on the ice, and while he wants a baby, he is not ready to be pregnant.
Ilya is.
Ilya is thirty-seven, retired or close enough to taste it, and in possession of what he considers several important advantages: excellent genetics, Olympic hips, and an undeniable talent for getting exactly what he wants. He would thrive being pregnant. Shane would thrive managing the logistics.
Ilya offers to carry.
Is simple. An easy workaround. Two alphas, one rare compatibility loophole, a spreadsheet, and a baby at the end of it.
Unfortunately, nothing about Ilya Rozanov has ever been simple.
And that is before the cravings, the hormones, the Jackie Pike alliance, and Hayden Pike’s dawning horror that Shane Hollander may be winning the husband Olympics.

Or: Hudson woke up in a reality where he and Connor were very much together, but that was far from the strangest thing about the world. Hudson really wouldn't mind being stuck there forever.
