She wants them.
She wants Mira and Zoey so badly, in whatever way, shape, or form that comes in.
For once in her life, Rumi wants to be selfish.
Or: HUNTR/X works towards sealing the Honmoon and falls in love along the way. Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?

“Rumi… I'm on my period..” Zoey started. Eyes nervous and confused, trailing off as her sentence was interrupted with a hungry snarl.
“I know.” That echoing timbre was back, Rumi’s eyes burned to full gold luminescent gold. A long demonic tongue coming forth to lick the glistening venom and drool from her lips as if imagining the taste. Zoey’s eyes widened in understanding as she watched. The hot burn of arousal now prominent.

“Would we be your first kiss?” Mira murmured. Voice low and gentle as she leaned against her, pressing her back into Zoey.
“No… I’ve been kissed before,” she said, fists balling up Mira’s shirt. Frame trembling against Zoey’s solid one behind her. The storm was ready to break.
“Was it Jinu?” Zoey asked, her chin warm on her shoulder as ice ran up her spine.
“No, it wasn't him.”
“Who was it?” Mira chuckled slightly. “We won't be mad at them. Just curious is all. Who wouldn't want to kiss you anyway?”
If only that were true.
Her tongue felt like lead in her mouth and her eyes watered. But she forced the name past her lips even as the syllables came out cracked. Broken. Just like her. “Ce- Celine.”
You could hear a pen drop at the silence that followed.
