Silas takes the last few steps towards the dais Sarnax’s body—cold, now, far too cold—is laying on, taking Sarnax’s hand in his. His hands are shaking, he realizes. “Fire Lord Gherix, I accept your trade.”

He doesn’t know how long he loses himself in staring at her face, silently letting the tears fall, but it’s long enough that he startles at the sound of the saloon doors to his room swinging open. He’s quick to close the locket and wipe his eyes, looking up at Sarnax and feigning a small smile for the alpha.

"You come back to me in one piece, Starfall,” Rett growls. The omegan timbre to it resonates in Pyke’s chest, dampened and muffled as it is by the speaker and space between them. He tries to internalize the feeling, the sound of it, knowing that he won’t hear it again for a year. They were lucky enough to get this, a single meeting shortly after he’s been processed into the prison. They only got it because of the mating marks on their necks, the way he and Rett’s scents are so intertwined they’re practically one.

Summary
After the events on Bandomeer, Qui-Gon reiterates that he cannot train Obi-Wan, but he tells Obi-Wan he deserves to be a Jedi. Obi-Wan follows Qui-Gon back to the Temple, becomes the padawan of Councilor Mace Windu, and dedicates himself to being a padawan worthy of a master who sits on the Council and invented his own lightaber form. Along the way, he bonds with his lineage sister, Depa Billaba, gets into mischief with his best friend Quinlan, and meets the Mand'alor, Jaster Mereel.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, unwanted child and then unwanted initiate finds himself a family that spans cultures and the galaxy. And when darkness rises up to threaten it, he defends his family with all the lessons and tricks the Force has taught him.

Summary
Jango Fett didn't mean to restart the Mandalorian Empire. He just kept accidentally acquiring planets after their leaders proved too corrupt to leave in place. Nobody told the Republic that (or if they did, they didn't believe it), so they decide to send a tribute to the Warlord.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, freshly knighted Jedi with a Padawan adopted in the heat of the moment, is chosen to sate the Warlord's desire for conquest. He's not happy about it, but when the senate sends him he must go. Fortunately, the unreasonably pretty warlord seems to mainly want him to do paperwork.
And Jango Fett might just save the Galaxy for his gorgeous new Jedi assistant and his adorable feral murder child.
